Yeah, for wipers, it's usually a gradual decline but once they start to go, it's quick; I usually look for any hazing or small spots that don't clear right away, which is a lot more obvious than trying to gauge wear on something like brake pads where you just trust a good brand like raybestos to do its job.
This might not be a popular opinion, but I've never had any problems with my OEM pads or rotors. Truck had the original OEM pads and rotors on it when I bought it, when those wore out I put Raybestos ones on and I was definitely not impressed with their performance. I switched back to OEM and have been happy ever since.
Raybestos is fine for everyday driving actually, wasn\u2019t aware that\u2019s what you had.
I've been using raybestus element 3. Pads and rotors on my Toyotas.
I would look at Raybestos, Wagner, Bendix, Bosch, or any of the major parts store brands.
And put full timing chain service -cam chain (chain, guides, tensioner), VVT cam adjuster, vacuum pump, cam follower, high pressure fuel pump rebuild, vvt spring seals(viaco and uro)\ncomplete timing belt kit with water pump and idler pullies, new brakes all around(raybestos pads and rotors) , new spark plugs and coils(Bosch and ngk), valve cover gasket, PCV replacement(new diaphragm and hoses), new cabin filter, new air filter, new fuel filter. and all fluids just done.
Raybestoes are okay
I bought a bike off a coworker and took it in to be serviced. Turns out the bike I bought was the equivalent of a model T Ford. They didn't make the brake pads for my model any more kinda old.
I had bad luck with a set of raybestos I put on my Tlx. Vibrations after 3k miles. Rebedded them, vibes again in 3k.
Fiesta ST brakes are terrible. Just replace the discs and pads....again....
