I have been running Hawk HPS 5.0 front and back since my 2019 Stinger GT. Put them on my G70 within the first 500 miles to save the rotors. They do squeak a bit, but they stop without fail and after 35k on my Stinger, never once did I get any vibration on braking.
Hawk hps ceramic pads
+1 on the hawk hp+. Fantastic pad
I run hawk hp+ for street and track use
Hawk LTS improved the pedal in my 460, and unlike power stop, Hawk isn’t the laughing stock of track day communities
I have Hawk 5.0 pads with KnS standard rotors and they've been pretty great so far.
I’d used hawk ceramic pads especially since you don’t plan on tracking the car. Low dust and will keep the wheels looking good between washes
I did Project MU B force pads. DBA 4000 rotors, Stop tech stainless steel brake lines, Motul 660 brake fluid, radium brake booster brace(a must). Make sure to set those pads in the correct sequence and they gonna rip your face off bud! I had 6 piston brembos also, what a difference!
I swapped from the ake’s to hawk on the last pad change. Hawks definitely don’t have the same stopping performance as the stock ones. I hate the dust from stock, but they work so much better Wouldn’t say the hawks were unacceptable by any means. Not worth the trouble to pull them out, but won’t be using them again
I ran Hawk DTC60's for one event. They dust like crazy which isn't the end of the world by itself, but if the dust touches any moisture at all (like the rainy track day) it mixes into what I can only describe as ferrous concrete. So not only is the dust-crete impossible to remove by any normal means, it then rusts like crazy, turning whatever wheels you have into a runny orange mess. I tried multiple different wheel cleaners, multiple brushes, soaking, anything and nothing could get it off. I had to use scotch brite and scuff the hell out of the wheels to get it off. Fortunately I run cheap TRM wheels and it's a track-only car otherwise I would have been livid.
