Brake pads POWER STOP or OEM Mazda
Been running Powerstop for the last 4 years…have been solid for me, no issues.
I have touch of squealing when I first leave my driveway in the morning. I have about 20 miles in them so far (changed last week). Performance is great no complaints.
Dust is gone.
Dust decrease was excellent and I had a smidge of squealing at very low speed initially, but it’s resolved after a few weeks.
The OEM pads do not dust like some aftermarket do. I replaced my fronts with OEM, and a couple years later replaced the back with Powerstop from RockAuto - the front dusts significantly less.
Powerstop is great i got z23/26, the change in brake dust is night and day. Dirty in 1 week oem vs 2 months.
I used PowerStop when I did mine about 6 months ago. Nothing fancy (no slotted or anything crazy). A decent rear set (rotors/pads) is probably around 100 USD
I've put either the z23 evolution or the z26 street warrior on many vehicles. Awesome improvement in stopping power across the board.
Powerstop on my Durango RT. Never an issue and been great for years.
I did Power Stop KOE7609 and overall I wasn't impressed. Not the best stopping power.
The front and rear pad kits were wrong. The shims for the front pads did not fit and the rear pads were for my model WITHOUT electric parking brake. The rear pads have rivets in the way on the inner pad which interfere with the solid piston.
