Brake pads POWER STOP or Ferodo

I ran the Ford Severe Duty pads, and now the Power Stop Z36. The Severe Duty pads performed great but had a LOT of brake dust. They are semi metallic so should be higher performance at the cost of brake dust and pad/rotor life. The Power Stop pads feel like they perform just as good (towing) and have almost no brake dust, and seem to be long lasting so I'd recommend them.

If you can double your budget you can get some Dynamic Friction or PowerStops from Jegs or Summit Racing. I'd trust those over some no name brand at Walmart

I switched to Ferodo DS2500 earlier this year and like them a little more.

Recent maintenance includes upgraded Power Stop K5866 front and rear carbon fiber brake pads with drilled and slotted rotors for improved stopping power.

Put Powerstop Z23’s on my 997 and love them. Low dust and the price is hard to beat.

I just did front brakes for about less than half of that yesterday and installed Powerstop brakes so I believe u getting scammed my boy unless this is dealership then that makes sense

I did my 2016 Expedition pads and rotors 2-3 years ago. Great brakes from PowerStop-have them on 2 vehicles. Nice kits.

Have power stop for my Q and no issues. It’s my commuter as well

I daily and autox ferodo ds2500, pretty happy with them, more dust and noise than an oem pad but can withstand light track work. Doesn’t sound like an awful bus/train but the occasional squeak happens.

Imo I’ve installed powerstop brakes 4 times on a handful of my cars and they rust to absolute hell. Just go for oem or acdelco gold etc I ended up replacing the powerstop for oem anyways.
