Brake pads OEM Volvo or Raybestos

I did use raybestos pads for my girlfriend’s Yaris and they are holding up fine and were a fraction of the price of advics!

Raybestos has always treated me well. They feel close to OEM but last longer and stop stronger under load. I've run them on work trucks and they held up fine with trailers.

Went Raybestos and they have been good so far. I wasn't impressed with the pads machining quality though. They just looked rough, but I haven't had any issues in 20k miles with some towing use.

I’ve ordered the Raybestos Element3 for multiple vehicles and been happy with them

The Element 3's have treated me very well on multiple vehicles now.

I'm in WNY and run the Raybestos fully coated rotors and ceramic pads on my truck and wife's SUV. No issues so far after 3 years.

Since we know Volvo has undersized the brake pistons for their SPA vehicles, leading to issues with pulsation. Instead of upsizing the brakes, they have released several pad revisions, have the latest pads slowed the occurance of brake pulsations?

I have the Raybestos EHT on my ol' Camry and Avalon. They lack longevity and will pulse toward then end of their usable life. The quality control has slipped a little of the years. You might have to file fit them(as with any pad). I'd say that they won't tolerate a hack installer. My EHT stopped better than my Akeboner proacts.

I got Raybestos pads+rotors back in December… 4mo later and already vibrating when braking so prob warped the rotors, and the pads already squeal at low speed braking.

I installed these less than a year ago on my 4runner. At first, I thought the squealing was going to go away after I broke them in. But almost a year later and they squeal really loud even if I brake slowly at low speeds.
