Brake pads OEM Toyota or OEM Mazda

OEM Toyota Brake pads

I purchase a 2022 highlander brand new. Recently it hit 50k miles. Purchased pads... Only assumed they needed them. Broke everything down to find they weren't even at 50%. Replaced them anyway - but they could have easily gone 80-100k depending on how I drove.

Pros: long lasting
Vehicle: Toyota Highlander
Mileage: 50000 km

OEM Mazda Brake pads

i remember hearing a guy complain about his cx5 eating through brakes, but the cx5 is the same car as my mazda3, and my mazda3 has seen 70,000km for its rear brake pad/ 90,000km for the fronts, and I drive a mix of city/highway.

Pros: 70,000km rear brake pad
Cons: cx5 eating through brakes
Vehicle: Mazda 3
Mileage: 70000 km

OEM Mazda Brake pads

I've been replacing the brakes on my 2019 since it hit about 25k or so, rear have been done twice (I'm at 62k now and just did them the second time) and the front were done around 30k. My dealership outright told me Mazda brakes are garbage and these vehicles are not made for Canadian winters (regardless of what their advertising says). This new set is aftermarket so hopefully better but seriously my brakes have been so corroded it's unbelievable.

Cons: corroded brakes, garbage
Vehicle: Mazda
Mileage: 62000 km
