Mk6 2.5L A/T. They just work. Brakes last forever, no engine or transmission issues, none of the weird mk4 body problems with windows or wipers, just great cars.
with only time and not use, it should be okay. think of it like putting new brake pads but with rotors that are still within service spec.
Over the weekend I finally got the brakes to cooperate, so it's just about time to get a few test runs in.
I did our Atlas rear brakes without a scan tool.
I have done the all the brakes on our 19 Atlas myself. Like previously stated fronts are straight forward and easy.
Took my 2019 Golf R to the track with stock pads and rotors. The brakes started smelling really bad after 20 minutes of track time, and squealing a bit. Didn’t lose braking power significantly, but this is what they look like afterwards.
I have a 2020 Rogue SV and it\u2019s pushing 98000. Great car in the Vermont winters , but I\u2019m on my 3rd set of breaks.
I have a Nissan Pathfinder 2022 and have had to replace brakes twice in 2 years.
The only thing wrong with them are they are too soft, organic pads. Switch to a metallic pad.
Secondly, defective Rear Disk Brake Pads that wore out on a majority of 22` Taos which was a covered rear Brake replacement if it was under 2ydears and 24 months. I just missed the cut-off and was$700 poorer.
