Ive got about 1k miles on the Autozone pads now and absolutely LOVE them. The feel is much better (progressive as opposed to grabby) and the dust! Oh the dust! Similar to the rear wheels which means I can drive further than 20 feet without having to clean them.

Pros: better feel, less dust
Mileage: 1609 km

I had the Duramax Ceramic front set installed in my car last week. little to no dust. performs pretty much just like stock, only differences i've noticed is that its less grabby initially, and braking has a more linear feel.

Pros: little to no dust, linear feel
Cons: less grabby initially

I just installed them on Saturday and I'm really liking it so far. Very linear feeling as well, and similar to stock, but less grabby out of the gate. The one main thing I noticed today is that my wheels aren't caked with brake dust, as they usually are with just one day of driving in stop and go LA traffic!

Pros: linear feeling, less dust
Cons: similar to stock

X2 Decided to try a set I these after seeing your review. Identical stopping power to stock, and they are extremely low dust. No noise, they fit tight in the carrier.

Pros: identical stopping power, extremely low dust
Cons: no noise

I bought Duralast Gold pads which are ceramic brake pads and was surprised how well they preform. They have really good stopping power with no difference in feel between these and stock pads. But these Duralast pads have WAY less brake dust than oem. My wheels would get really bad brake dust within a day with the oem pads especially the front. But with the Duralast pads, I've gone weeks with very little brake dust at all..almost can't even notice the brake dust. I haven't tracked my car with these Duralast pads yet, but for the street...these have been preforming very well. I've had them for 5 months now and haven't noticed any noise or vibration and have worked very good in wet weather also...which we get a lot of here in Oregon. They are priced really good for how well they preform. I thought I'd put this out there since I read on another thread here about these pads being available and thought I'd try them out.

Pros: good stopping power, less brake dust
Cons: not tracked yet

I use duralast on 3 of my cars without issue, I even use them on my vette around town. No issues whatsoever, and they're free replacement.

Pros: no issues, free replacement

The bigger brakes are strong, but the gearbox is obstructive. Steering response is instant and - to your eyes anyway - the MPS corners flat and hard. But wide, high, soft part-bucket seats send the opposite message to your brain , giving the uncomfortable impression the car is rolling in corners.

Pros: strong brakes, instant steering
Cons: obstructive gearbox, soft seats

In my experience the OEM Mazda Miata "Value" brake pads have absolutely horrible initial bite characteristics and require much more pedal pressure to achieve a given level of deceleration than aftermarket performance oriented brake pads.

Cons: horrible initial bite
