Brake pads Hella Pagid or OEM Subaru
Just bought Pagid discs and pads for my Suzuki Swift. mix of main and rural roads in NW England, plenty of wet, mud and hills.
Yes, decent enough. Just changed discs and pads on my Passat and no issues.
My wife has 2014 XT since new and we are at 93k miles all stock brakes including rotors and pads. The only thing changed was brake fluid as part of regular maintenance interval.
The factory pads/rotors on my 2011 Outback 3.6 have 90k on them (70% highway miles) and are still in good shape. I'll probably never buy discount parts store brakes again.
I currently have all four corners replaced with Hella Pagid on a 2018 Golf. I’ve had them on for 2.5 years and 60,000km. Love them just as good as OEM and I believe there are also a OEM supplier to VW depending where they’re sold.
Bought top of the line brake pads Front and rear for 115 dollars a you tube video and a 7 dollar spanner got me through the job. Didn't need rotors I've learned shops automatically want to change those.
I went in for a 30k service (2021 Ascent) and mentioned the brake judder and warranty extension. They confirmed and ordered the parts (pads and rotors), awaiting parts now but it seems it will be all be covered.
I got pagid and they are decent.
I went through a set on my M4 in two days. Have Pagid RSL29 now and three very hard driving days in they show little if any wear
They are the worst deal. They charge like what $93 now for an oil change? I can get a case of 12 quarts for like $24. And do it my self. I can’t even remember what they tried to quote me for a brake job. I got brakes and rotors for under $200.
