Well I have to desagree because I have used each one of them and the best for performance are Ferodo, EBC are good but they don't last that much I put a new set for a solocross and they didn't go for more than 30 laps, Mintex are a little better than stock and no dust ... Ferodo are the best, no dust but will wear your rotors in the long run

Pros: best for performance
Cons: wear your rotors

I should also add that the Mintex Red pads that BLUE NRG is using are one of the faster bedding pads on the market and have a much wider operating temperature than most high performance pads and certainly most race pads.

Pros: faster bedding pads

I'm running Ferodo DS2000 pads and Zimmerman crossdrilleds on my Corrado. I just did my first track event last weekend and my rotors are warped. The pads worked very well on the track, no brake fade at all. This was with (3) 20 min sessions on a 2 mile road course. They do create a lot of red brake dust so that may be a factor for street use. I would stay away from Zimmerman rotors. I drove around trying to cool the car down after every session and they still warped. They are more "show than go". I was told to stick with ATE or Brembo rotors by some experienced racers.

Pros: no brake fade
Cons: lot of red dust

I got Mintex pads from Autotech for my 97 Jetta 2.0 in Jan. I do a fair amount of city driving and drive the car kind of hard all the way around. Mintex pads worked great with almost no dust and were much better in the rain. (stock pads sucked in the rain) I only had them on the car for 5K then car got wrecked but I plan to get them for the new one..

Pros: almost no dust, great rain
Mileage: 5000 km

I got the mintex pads about a week after I got new wheels. I couldn't stand washing them every other day. If you're looking for low dust content, the mintex work really well. The disadvantage is that the pedal feel isn't as nice as stock.

Pros: low dust content
Cons: pedal feel not nice

I have the Mintex Red and Zimmerman rotors. I warped one pair of rotors already but it was really quick so I am returning them they could be defective I will see if I get my money back. There is almost NO brake dust with the Mintex, but they are LOUD as hell, if I have the radio off I can hear them when I hit the brakes even if the windows are closed.

Pros: almost no brake dust
Cons: loud as hell
