Brake pads EBC or OEM Porsche

I have EBC Red pads all around and am very happy with them. Very low dust. Less initial bite than the OEM pads and plenty of stopping power. I always thought the stock pads seemed to grab initially and wanted less braking with low pedal force. These Reds are much more linear (pressure vs. stopping) than the stockers were.

I have ebc reds in front, and hawk hps in rear. Way less dust than OEM pads and they seem to work a lil better.

EBC Yellowstuff brake pads

I used Redstuff on my MKV. Low dust, good bite, no noise except sometimes in the cold using light application. I drive mostly suburban traffic. Pads didn't eat the rotors. They are a ceramic pad (unless EBC changed the formulation recently) so not to be used for track days.

I use these pads. They only make noise when its really cold out. After I drive/brake for a few minutes the noise goes away. I use these pads because I have white wheels. I get roughly an extra week and a half before my wheels look really bad. That alone was worth it to me. Rotors still look fine as well. Hope this helps.

Now I'm using ebc red stuff pads and they make less dust than the hawks.

Currently running this setup minus the master bracket on VR6 brakes. EBC reds are good for low dust. I like them better than Hawks for that. When they are cold they can take a bit of warming up.

I installed EBC Red pads about 2 weeks ago. I don't have any squeaking problems, pedal is super stiff and grabs incredibly fast. The dust is really low in comparison to the stock pads. At this point my white wheels would be covered in black. The dust on there now is acceptable in my opinion. I know others don't like the EBC brakes. So far, I'm very happy with them. I once put some EBC Organic Pads on my Honda Shadow. They worked OK, but had a "buzz" that wasn't there on the OEM Pads. I ended up replacing them after about three weeks with new OEM.

I've used them on my previous car and wasn't impressed, HP+ on the other hand was a much better choice for me (not to mention quite a bit cheaper)
