I’ve dailied Redstuffs for 4 years now with no problem. They bite well, they don’t squeal, and they don’t make much dust.

Pros: good bite, quiet, low dust

EBC Brake pads

I went with the EBC red stuff pads on my F90 and so far it’s been great. I don’t track the car, and I’d say my stopping power feels no different than the stock pads. I just hope they last forever like the stock lol.

Pros: great stopping power
Vehicle: BMW

I love the Carbotech 1521 pads on my E60 M5. Excellent bite and modulation, never gotten fade when bombing around mountain roads, and significantly less dust than the stock Textar pads. Not zero dust, but I'd say 80% - 90% less.

Pros: excellent bite, less dust
Cons: some dust
Vehicle: BMW
Part number: 1521

Swap for EBC red pads and you’ll never see dust again. Good cold pad bite + super quiet. Big step up from the factory bmw “sport” pads.

Pros: no dust, good bite, quiet

The stock pads that came on my RS3 were god awful for brake dust. After 2 days of normal highway driving they looked like crap. They also hit the wear sensor after only 15k miles which is bananas for a mostly highway driven car. I bought a set with a new pair of 2 piece rotors and the difference is night and day. Braking is much stronger and zero fade even in more demanding conditions (the two piece rotors obviously help with that) I’ve had them on for 25k miles and they have very little wear on them. I’d definitely buy them again. That said, be warned that for like 500-1000 miles after they are installed, your wheels will be the dustiest you’ve ever seen. Once that wears off, they run very clean.

Pros: strong braking, low dust
Cons: dusty initially, short lifespan
Vehicle: Audi RS3
Mileage: 25000 km

I keep XP8’s on my track/weekend car full time. For me, the noise is annoying when I’m driving through town or in a parking lot because people look at me like my car is broken.

Cons: annoying noise
Vehicle: Toyota MR2
Part number: XP8

I had yellow stuff on my 7.5R, performed well on the street but it fall apart when I took the car on track. They seem not really coping with high heat senarios, bite significantly dropped towards the end of a 20 minutes session, and the pads is installed on AP Racing 8520 caliper with 380mm disc, never go back to EBC afterwards

Pros: performed well on street
Cons: fall apart on track
