Brake pads EBC or ATE
If you want better stopping power, you could use ebc pads.
I only use ATE. Just got new Pads and Dics in Front and Pads in rear on my m235i Brake dust is there but no to extreme.
I put ATE performance discs & ceramic pads on my e39. The discs won't make a difference but it's nice to pair up brands. Ceramic pads make a huge difference to the amount of dust though.
Ebc Green Stuff Pads and Rotors
I installed the same pads, much better than the OEMs. If you want you also don't have to reinstall the pad clips. The thin brass looking things. Not installing them makes it easier to see your pads and how much meat you have left. Also makes changing pads much quicker. The negative is that you might hear your pads rattle a little at first. I haven't noticed after the first couple of days.
EBC green stuff with EBC sport rotors if I remember correctly. They were easy to install and they've been great for about 5 years now.
I’m running nicer blank rotors with EBC yellowstuff pads currently. It’s super nice when they’re all warmed up, but they are a bit dusty
I’ve had these EBC blue stuff brake pads for 6k miles (2 track days) and they fronts are almost down to the metal. I expect them to go quick but this was a lot quicker than I had thought
EBC's suck so it's nice they provide a chart with better pad options :)
I've used Yellow Stuff about 4 times on 4 different cars. I drive very aggressively on the street during midnight haulin ass events. First off, even on the street I glazed them on all 4 cars. The one car I fried them in one night, and they cooked my rotors too.
