I run EBC Yellow on stock discs. Car is used for spirited drives and the Nurburgring. No complaints in 10+ years of use

Pros: no complaints, long lasting

EBC Brake pads

I've been using EBC Yellowstuff pads for a while and they've been great. My car gets used hard on the road, and occasionally on track. They don't last as long as standard pads, but worth it for the extra stopping power!

Pros: great stopping power
Cons: don't last long

2032 fit fine in mine as well. I noticed the remote lock button was not working from more than a few car lengths when cold and decided it was time before I ran into other issues.

Pros: 2032 fit fine
Cons: remote lock not working

Have had them for a year or two now. Do the proper break-in procedure and they're a nice upgrade over stock. Honestly don't think anyone needs more for the streets

Pros: nice upgrade, good for streets

Wife swapped her OEMs to EBC yellows and it's night-and-day difference. 10/10 would recommend.

Pros: night and day difference

I have EBC front sets on an 08 C30 T5 M66 and 03 GS300. Both are Redstuff pads rather than Green as in the Kit below. Exceptional brakes so will use these when times come for our 2020 Tiguan.

Pros: Exceptional brakes

Akebono Brake pads

From what I remember, On my c63, just the pads were $460, but the install was only $150. I brought them Akebono pads, and they said … oh these are the wrong ones. Funny my mechanic put them on just fine.

Pros: easy install, affordable pads
Cons: dealer incompatibility
Vehicle: Mercedes
