Brake pads EBC or Akebono
Go with ebc yellowstuff. If you like to drive a little hard. Changing the brakes on these cars is very easy by the way.
I’ve run the Akebonos on my M235i for years with no issues. They seem to dust less than the factory ones, which is a bonus to me.
I use Akebono pads and coated Raybestos rotors. I changed my brakes around the time I got my 07 which was a year ago. I highly doubt you drive like you're street racing or drifting. My brakes still have a hell of a lot of life left in them.
Saved thousands and now have EBC breaks and rotors with red stuff , better performance way less money and installed from a highly recommended local shop!

That's a great price. Akebono is one of the OE suppliers to Honda and it looks like they either forgot to add the price of the pads or just left them out on purpose which would normally add at least an extra $50. $100 or a little over is normal price per rotor so that checks out and 1.25 hours is very cheap. Most shops would be closer to 2 hours to swap all that out.
I haven't had any issue with yellow stuff on my 350Z doing hot track days in Miami. But the brakes don't last as long as they should. So I'm trying blue next time and I might go to the full track pads whenever that isn't enough.
Many years ago, I converted my 88 Cabriolet to Corrado G60 front brakes. The pads were junk. They ruined [caused the front rotors to warp] a couple sets of rotors before I pitched the pads.
I also have some EBC braided lines and yellow stuff on my ST. But I think I didn't really brake them in before using them very hard. Needed to brake from around 200kph for a corner on the Nurburgring and fried them. The bite it used to have is gone now, I think I overcooked them
