I really liked Project Mu Club Racers as a "streetable-ish" track pad. They were fairly tolerable on the street as long as they were bedded in. They occasionally squeal when coming to a stop once below 15mph.

Pros: tolerable on street
Cons: occasional squeal

I had Carbotech XP12 before and they're were great, but squealed like a pig on the street. I haven't tracked the Dynamic Friction but aggressive street even on V730 & daily driving, they've been great.

Pros: great performance
Cons: squealing on street

Higher-temp and higher-mu pads (Project Mu HC+R3) + braided brake lines + DOT 4 fluid for me. Slotted fronts, blank rears.

Pros: higher temp, higher mu

I went from EBC to Carbotech. It’s a night and day difference. I’m running XP8, but my car is very light.

Pros: night and day difference

Carbotech Brake pads

I've been to 20 track events to this day I'm still running OEM calipers. Just carbotech pads. You don't need a big brake kit at all. The oem cracks because of improper cooldown. I learned that after a session to take my cooldown lap seriously and ever since then i stopped cracking AutoZone rotors

Pros: no need for BBK, stopped cracking rotors

I ran stock rotors for a long time with carbotech xp10/8, front brake ducts, stainless lines, and Motul 660. The XP10/8 + ducts was sufficient for 20min session the tracks I drive.

Pros: sufficient for track sessions

I'm using carbotech xp8 on my 3800 pound sedan. They've survived 6 days at the track plus occasional driving around town for a year.

Pros: survived 6 days at track

I found Project Mu Club Racers to be decently streetable for a track pad. They do squeal a bit at less than 25 but are tolerable as long as they’re bedded in and you’re giving a decent amount of threshold pressure.

Pros: decently streetable
Cons: squeal a bit
