better steering, better brakes
I went 87k on oe brakes.
Carbotech has served me very well on my M6
I run carbotech 12/10 on my C5. Streetable but messy. I only really drive to track, on track, then home. Probably drive 100 street/leisure miles a year, but after 2 track days on this setup (wilwood aero6 in front) I’m very happy with the setup.
125K on a 2018. Factory pads and rotors. All even wear and still far from the squealer tabs.
2021 with 87k miles. I'll probably need to change the pads in the next 15k-20k miles.
The car stops just fine, it just doesn’t have a great feel.
I personally don’t like the way my wrx brakes. That’s just my personal preference. But yes the car brakes just fine for every day driving and isn’t a problem.
Factory brakes in my 2021 we’re pretty low quality, lasted about 3 years.
I thought the brakes sucked
