I’ve used kits like this before and that one is spot on. I have Brembo discs and pads on my car now, and do notice a bit more bite from the pedal this time, which is amwbag I was looking for. The downside is the brakes need a bit more heat in them before they’re effective, which is not the case with the Sebro/Textar setup.

Pros: more bite from pedal
Cons: needs more heat before effective

Brembo Brake pads

Pads and tyres affect braking the most, the actual discs themselves matter much less. Just get some higher tier metallic brake pads and you should be good. I would go for Brembo Extra pads personally.

Pros: good braking performance

At 75K went with OEM rotors in the rear and some Wagner QS ZD1108 ceramic pads. Then went with some Brembo 09.C306.11 rotors in the front with EBC Reds ceramic pads. I don’t track. Stopping power is about the same. I didn’t notice a huge difference. What I did notice, much quieter stopping and NO MORE BROWN BRAKE DUST. Yes, still get brake dust but not nearly as much. And when it collects, it’s more of a light white dust. Easy to clean. Super happy with the change. Even in the winter, stopping power is good.

Pros: quieter stopping, less dust
Vehicle: Volkswagen
Mileage: 75000 km

Brembo Brake pads

As for your question, I have Brembo pads on my M6 and 650i and brake dust is minimal in comparison to these. I still scrub my wheels once a month but it\u2019s a way better interval compared to the old ones.

Pros: minimal brake dust
Vehicle: BMW

At 50k, my rotors and stock pads were shot. The brembo pads are very aggressive and eat the rotor quickly. If you are racing or spirited stopping often, they will go quick. I went with power stop replacements and I am very happy. No more rotor click and much less brake dust. I daily drive mine, so most of the miles are pretty easy. 2020 spwb charger.

Pros: less brake dust, happy with replacement
Cons: rotors wear quickly, aggressive pads
Mileage: 50000 km

Brembo Brake pads

My Polestar 2 has 3 levels of OPD which is awesome. My brakes are still fairly new and I have 34800 miles on it as of today. I very rarely use the friction brakes unless I take it to the track and thats when the Brembos brakes all around really work.

Pros: brakes are fairly new
Mileage: 34800 km

Brembo Brake pads

Used Brembo pads on my 535d, then gave them another try on my i30N. Will never buy again. Suitable only for casual, calm driving around the city. Overheat very easily, overall stopping performance got worse, brake pedal feeling became harder.

Cons: overheat easily, worse performance
