My buddy has a base 22 and has driven my 24 TR. He noted the Brembos have a much better bite to them.
Powerstop z23, get them from Rockauto.
Power stops. I’ve had mine in there for well over 75k. Same pads and rotors the whole time.
The OEM Sports brakes are just Brembo’s stickered as Infiniti.
I just replaced both pads and rotors at 100k with R1 Concepts rotors and power stop pads. Seems fine.
Did mine a couple months ago. They feel good and stop well. Decent price. No noise.. would do it again. The hardware wasnt great and ended up reusing the oem clips.
If you’re going to track it. I’d get the STI just for the better brakes alone.
If you enjoy driving, you should go for brembo brakes.
Did power stop pads and rotors on an 18 GT and it makes the same noise. Even tried bedding new pads, still does it.
I replaced the rear pads and rotors with Power Stop pads and rotors. Bleed. Did break in proceedure. No change.
