Brake pads Brembo or OEM Volvo

For my 2016 V60 I only spend about $500. Also depending on your rotors and pads, there's no need to do both front and rear together.

I replaced the front pads myself after 25,000 miles (was 2 years ago), it cost me under $200, including all the necessary tools and original Volvo pads.

Mk5 R32 OEM rotors and pads - made by Brembo and i believe are powder coated. They are lasting a long time and are very strong to abuse

Ric also got Renault to use Brembo brakes when he was racing for them.

Couldn't answer your first two questions, but the last question about Brembo being reliable is a very solid "yes".

The camaro SS uses brembo pads which are really good hence the price tag (imo the quote you got is pretty reasonable). If you want a more cost effective alternative, hit up MSW autoparts and ask for Zlatko. They have EBC brake pads which are also really good aftermarket pads.

And they found the ex's contact information on the scheduler. He updated the information on the scheduler and then they both logged in on different computers to check, including scheduling an appointment for me to confirm that only my contact info is on there. Then the other tech checked again and confirmed that it was correct on his computer.

I've ordered brembo pads from them. After doing one corner I realised that there were 3 identical pads and 1 different pad for a different vehicle. I spoke to them about my issue and they send me a replacement brembo pad shipping free.

Canada here: paid around $700 CAD for rear brake pads and rotors at Canadian Tire back in May for my 2008 V70.

I have a 2019 XC40 and kept having brake issues - they ended up replacing the pads and rotors… at less than 15k miles. I continue to have issues (now it’s nothing serious, just a very loud obnoxious squeal)
