Brake pads Brembo or OEM Volkswagen
Especially if you've got a 2019+ Mk7.5, stock Performance Pack brakes will be plenty. That's what I brought to the Dragon. Just make sure your brake fluid is good and you're not due for new pads and rotors for a bit.
I have been running Brembo Pads and rotors. No issues. Perform well for daily driving.
1.4 auto is a good box. Will be nippy but get the brakes checked and renewed if necessary.
The Brembo brakes are good, almost surprisingly so.
I got 85000 mi from the original ceramic pads then replaced the rotors and pads (with Brembo).
GSF car parts have Brembo disks and pads front and rear £228.31 inc vat
That said, I have a '22 SE that has 53,000 miles. The rear brake pads failed at 23,000 miles.
Brembo user here, mabrake dust din ang Brembo and iingay din kung di ka madalas maglinis ng brakes. Kung gusto mo tahimik talaga go back to OEM or try Akebono. Haven't used Akebono dahil mas mahal siya.
I and most would recommend against getting the stock Brembo pads. They are far too soft and when they heat up, excess material sticks to the rotor causing the shaking under braking eventually.
Brembo are made under license and are rubbish.
