I got 85000 mi from the original ceramic pads then replaced the rotors and pads (with Brembo).
GSF car parts have Brembo disks and pads front and rear £228.31 inc vat

I had Brembo pads and rotors put on my 2019 S5 coupe. I actually like them better than OEM parts they replaced.
You've been quoted £1150 FOR A BRAKE JOB?! To put it into perspective, you can get fairly high end pads and discs (Brembo and the likes) for around £4-500 if you look around, and the job takes 2 hours tops.
While brembo make a "premium" quality brakes they are just standard brakes (comparable to Delphi etc).
I put on some Brembo ceramic pads on the rears and it felt a tad softer braking.
Ford Territory! The brakes felt spongey
Brakes are too touchy, more than any other vehicle I've driven.
