Brake pads Brembo or OEM BMW

Best things I did for my g80 was 1) Mishimoto skid plate to protect my oil cooler 2)Ceramic brake pads because the red dust that will engulf the lower half of your car after a 1/2 mile drive is insane.

I have been running Brembo Pads and rotors. No issues. Perform well for daily driving.

The Brembo brakes are good, almost surprisingly so.

I got 85000 mi from the original ceramic pads then replaced the rotors and pads (with Brembo).

GSF car parts have Brembo disks and pads front and rear £228.31 inc vat

Brembo OE replacement P06 064 - 74.34 AED.

Have a 16 535i, took ownership at ~30k km and now at ~80k km. Front brake pads (re used old rotor but will change once I get through current set).

2001 740i never had any issues with the throttle response but the brakes could be better. Too spongy and not as responsive as my 99 540i was.

This time the shims on the back of my new Brembo brake pads are rotating? Weird! Can’t figure out the mechanics of that happening. Doesn’t make any sense. Only a month old.
