Stock Brembo sti colour.
On the GD’s I’m partial to the classic red but other than that my preference is my black GR brakes. Understated and don’t clash with anything.
Most you can do is Brembo X-tra pads or equivalent.
Came across a set of bmw brembo brakes at an auto wrecker. Bought for $50, sold for $950.
OEM brake pads are most of times manufactured by BOSCH. So if you can identify the supplier you spend less $$$ for your spares
Just did my C300 rear rotors and pads. And front pads. All Bremro. In my case (cdn) the best price was Amazon. Pretty straight forward.
I believe a division of Bosch’s automobile braking development is in NKY. They did the newish NSX brakes there.
I get this too since I replaced pads and rotors (Bosch Quietcast pads/Zimmermann rotors). To me, it's more of a click than a clunk.

Brembo from ECP or Autodoc are cheap rubbish.
