Brake pads ATE or Duralast

I'm really liking the ATE pads I got for my 340i with the brembo F/Rs.

I just put Duralast Elite Ceramic pads and Duralast Gold rotors on my 2017 5.0 and have been very pleased with them. While not physically measured I’m of the opinion stopping distance has been reduced. Everything you need is in the box and rotors are coated to resist corrosion and have no film to remove before installation.

Did all brakes and rotors with top duralast gold and heavy duty ceramic pads- maybe 600

I went with the pads from ATE and got them fitted today, all in all it cost around 200 USD / 2000 SEK. 2 years ago the mechanic told me all 4 brakes need replacing. Today when they were replaced the rear ones had about half of the material left and the front 1/3.

I went ATE pads and rotors from FCP and couldn't be happier

I run ATE Ceramic pads with Zimmerman rotors on my MK7 and am very satisfied.

I put ATE on my 335is a year ago and am very happy with them. Almost no dust and good stopping power. When they were new, the initial bite was a bit weak, but that went away after break in.

I’ve always run Dynamic Friction or Centric myself. I have no complaints from either brand, both preform well, quiet, seem to last (which will obviously vary by how much you’re driving/stopping), and they get the job done.

Get ATE or Textar pads, buying more known pads because they are "performance brakes (which you see at the register)" is basically throwing money away just because "they are expensive so they must be better" and is idiotic imo.
