Brake pads Akebono or Raybestos

Akebono Brake pads

I got powerstop rotors drilled and slotted from Amazon front and rear for about $300 and some akebono brake pads with the sensors. Probably all in under $500. Did the work myself, pretty easy honestly.

Pros: easy to install

I prefer Akebono ceramic. I think their top tier line is called ProAct. Very nice pads. Quiet, low dust, and perform well.

Pros: quiet, low dust

Raybestos Brake pads

OEM is never bad for the brakes, Raybestos and EBC are considered some of the best for Xterras, both give you plenty of different options to go with as well. Personally, Raybestos was easy and shipped within a week

Pros: easy and shipped fast
Vehicle: Nissan

Akebono Brake pads

I put on Akebono pads and Raybestos rotors about 500 miles ago. Super squeaky with light brake pressure; I'm at the point I want to pull them apart and clean it all then reassemble.

Pros: pads and rotors installed
Cons: super squeaky with light pressure
Mileage: 500 km
