Brake pads Akebono or OEM Subaru
I've also been using Centric 120-series brake rotors and Akebono ProAct ceramic pads for years. The pads are long-lasting and amazingly dust-free.
2014 impreza limited hatch — only 90K, routine maintenance (oil changes and replacing as needed brake pads, fluids, brake lights, tires, wipers).
aside from some repairs to back wheels (2 years ago) and a clog in my exhaust system that had to be cleared (7 years ago), this baby has been rollin along fine.
If you are cheap like me you will swap to Akebono Ceramic pads. Rotor will last 4x longer.
Akebono are the oem makers for toyota pads. I have used those with great results on a higher quality rotor.
I believe Akebono makes them. I put them on all my cars, the ceramic pads are quiet, little dust, don’t fade and last a long time.
My energy cost per mile is 1/5 to 1/7 of my ICE vehicle. My maintenance costs are 1/2 or less than my iCE vehicle.
Akebono ceramic pads are great. Stop well, very low dusting.
I changed the front pads and rotors for the first time in my ‘17 at 116k miles in July. I went with Zimmerman Z coat 312mm non-pp rotors and Akebono ceramic pads. 4k miles on the new parts and the bite and pedal response is excellent!
The car stops just fine, it just doesn’t have a great feel.
Bro they're trying to fuck you hard. Take that vehicle somewhere else and never go back. No way the rear pads should be at 2mm after only 30k miles
