Brake pads Akebono or OEM Porsche
If we're talking brake pads highly recommend aekobono brake pads just truly different very smooth no noise and will last easily 60,000 miles
toyota uses akebono as an oem manufacturer for most of their brake pads. i run akebonos on my car and they run amazing. akebonos are one of the best ceramic pads imo and they last a long time with no noise and barely any brake dust.
Akebono are the best brake pads, rotors you can get on eBay slotted and drilled for less $200 (front and rear)
I've always used Akebono pads for my E90 and F30. Some say they work as well as OEM but produce less brake dust. I've never had issues with them and happy with performance for daily use.
I run Akebono brake pads, they're great!
Akebono Ceramic Pads are the default OEM+ option.
Get the best ones out there which is OEM they gave my 15es250 the best miles before replacement which is 125k
You are saving some $$ doing a DIY job...so spend an extra bucks and get the OEM parts or better which would be akebono proact(brake pads around 100$) and advics high carbon rotors(220$) which again is the oem rotors your lexus had.
I use ceramic Akebono pads and have noticed that my tires are much less brown and wheel less dusty than they use to be
Just bought akebono for my fortuner will update you once napakabit ko na.
I did not like the Akebono ASPs at all. A distinct lack of bite even after break-in. Went back to stock and all was good.
