Brake discs Zimmermann or Raybestos

Zimmermann Brake discs

I’ve had Zimmerman rotors and hawk hps 5.0 pads for a few thousand km now. Feels pretty close to stock and my silver prets aren’t caked in dust anymore.

Pros: close to stock, less dust

Zimmermann Brake discs

Just replaced my 2018 SE brakes with the PP Zimmerman and Textar kit from FCP Euro. So far it's pretty much identical to stock. Pads will make the difference when it comes to dust. I do like the Zimmermann blanks, so nice to have non-rusty rotors again

Pros: identical to stock, non-rusty

I use Zimmerman blanks on my track car and have been doing so for years. They work great, will hold up for numerous weekends, and are fairly inexpensive (free replacements from FCP Euro is also a big bonus).

Pros: work great, fairly inexpensive

I'm a big fan of Zimmerman rotors. They're reasonably priced and wear well. Just don't get the 'fancy' drilled/slotted ones.

Pros: reasonably priced, wear well
Cons: drilled/slotted ones bad
Vehicle: BMW

I switched over to Zimmerman x-drilled, SS lines, Mintex Red Boxes and bled the system with DOT 4 fluid. The same corse I never noticed any fade but I also did not notice any BETTER braking performance either.

Pros: no fade
Cons: no better performance
Vehicle: Volkswagen
