Brake discs Zimmermann or OEM BMW

Zimmerman are pretty decent got a pair on mine

I've used Zimmerman rotors with Akebono pads... Less brake dust. I've used TRW in the past and way too much brake dust for my liking.

Been running Zimmerman for over a decade, never had an issue.

I got Zimmermann coated rotors and TRW Ultra ceramic pads, but I just daily mine and it never sees the track.

Zimmerman blanks and EBC reds have been great for me

I would run Zimmerman Sport drilled rotors on my A4 with EBC yellows and they were outstanding.

The best combo was Zimmerman blanks and StopTech pads.

I got Zimmerman blanks and Ferodo Racing DS2500 pads and love that combo for track/street. They can be a bit noisy when cold and light braking on the street but if you just brake a bit harder no noise at all.

Be aware, the dimples and slots make for more noise so don’t expect them to be identical to the blank rotors in that regard.

I purchased a 99 M3 recently and the car came with Zimmerman “Sport” drilled rotors and Jurid brake pads and I have to say that they are a terrible combo. They squeak a lot and they maybe have less than 10k miles on them.
