Brake discs Zimmermann or MEYLE

According to the newsletter today, Rock Auto has added Zimmerman to their catalog. They have some for Phaetons if yours has the smaller front rotors.

I used Zimmermann replacements discs and pads on my B9 RS4 for 5 years/70k miles. Had 3 sets all around over that time. The front discs and calipers are the same as the etron. They were good products and hard to tell the difference from OEM.

I replaced the front pads and rotors on my F20 M135i yesterday. Same Brembo brakes as yours. I did a lot of research, and there isn't really "better" than stock for the same money. The only better option would be to upgrade to bigger brakes, but that would cost way more. I ended up going with Zimmerman Z-coat two piece rotors and ATE pads. The Zimmerman rotors are the slotted and dimpled versions. BMW calls that the M Performance rotors as OE. They're the same size - 340mm. They reportedly don't give much of a performance increase, but they weigh about 8% less than standard discs. All together with the hardware (guide pins, caliper bolts, etc) was about £500 with shipping from Spareto.

I just did pads and rotors on my '19 Alltrack. I went with Bosch Quietcast pads and Zimmermann rotors from FCP Euro. So much better than the OEM I removed.

Zimmermann discs are great, pads are up to your driving style. Just a note, if you choose any of the EBC pads on FCP go with the yellowstuff. I've had redstuff and they did not hold up well on spirited runs.

I purchased a 99 M3 recently and the car came with Zimmerman “Sport” drilled rotors and Jurid brake pads and I have to say that they are a terrible combo. They squeak a lot and they maybe have less than 10k miles on them.
