I'm a big fan of Zimmerman rotors. They're reasonably priced and wear well. Just don't get the 'fancy' drilled/slotted ones.

Pros: reasonably priced, wear well
Cons: drilled/slotted ones bad
Vehicle: BMW

I’ve used Zimmerman rotors with Textar pads on my X5 and they’re pretty solid. They do squeak in the cold a lot more than the OE’s do but not that big of a deal to me. Performance wise I haven’t noticed a big difference if I’m honest.

Pros: pretty solid, good performance
Cons: squeak in cold weather
Vehicle: BMW X5

Zimmermann Brake discs

I was recommended Zimmerman Rotors for my 550i by a bmw shop and I've really liked them so far. I've had them on for the past 4 yrs and never had an issue. I bought some autozone rotors once before that warped and rusted super quick.

Pros: long lasting, no issues
Cons: autozone rotors warped
Vehicle: BMW

We are on our fifth weekend with our girodisc two piece rotors. Yes they are expensive, but they are worth it. They are so much better with heat management.

Pros: better heat management
Cons: expensive

I switched over to Zimmerman x-drilled, SS lines, Mintex Red Boxes and bled the system with DOT 4 fluid. The same corse I never noticed any fade but I also did not notice any BETTER braking performance either.

Pros: no fade
Cons: no better performance
Vehicle: Volkswagen
