I got Zimmerman blanks and Ferodo Racing DS2500 pads and love that combo for track/street. They can be a bit noisy when cold and light braking on the street but if you just brake a bit harder no noise at all.

Pros: good track/street combo
Cons: noisy when cold

You mention cost but not weight differential of the rotors, many people move to girodisks because it reduces the weight at each corner. With regards to blanks vs drilled, I have had no issues running drilled (Zimmerman) on my previous Audi TTs and my current 718. I run a dedicated set for track with Carbotech XP12s, no fade, no issues. 718 is in roughly the same weight category, 3k ish.

Pros: no fade, no issues
Vehicle: Porsche

I had my V60t6 2020 done for 800$ with Zimmerman rotors and Hawk pads (high performance). The job was done by 2 technicians within 1h.

Pros: fast service, high performance
Cons: expensive
Vehicle: Volvo V60

Solid, Zinc coated Zimmermann with Red Stuff pads. I'm stage 1 and push my car a bit occasionally and have never had any issues stopping when I want to.

Pros: reliable stopping power

Ordered zimmerman f brake discs and they were not riveted tight enough. The two-piece brake disc made a clicking noise when braking at low speed.

Cons: clicking noise, loose rivets
