I usually just use the built in threaded rotor removal bolt holes on Toyota rotors, they usually work very well... Much better than beating the shit out of the rotor with a sledge hammer, all that does is hammer the wheel bearings to death unnecessarily.

Pros: removal holes effective

Raybestos Brake discs

I really like the Raybestos Element3, Coated rotors. I have them on my GTI in NW Ohio and they resist rust better than anything else I have tried.

Pros: rust resistant, good quality

I’m running Raybestos rotors (good warranty and price) with Stoptech Sport pads and I like the brakes quite a bit.

Pros: good warranty and price

OEM Toyota Brake discs

Many heavy 4WD vehicles out there chew through rotors in 25k miles. My LandCruiser goes through them every 20k. And yes, I have checked the thickness and I've tried resurfacing old rotors a couple times but it always resulted in short life and problems.

Cons: short life, problems
Vehicle: Toyota
Mileage: 20000 km
