You normally would never need to resurface the rear rotors on this car, we only resurface the front unless there's something really abnormal.
During my last service, I mentioned there was possible rocks or something rubbing in between the pads + rotors on one of the corners. They diagnosed and machining the rotors fixed it.
Damn, they must be for a truck or something, I literally just yesterday got my Powerstops rotors shipped to me from RA (bought a few days ago) with a couple other small things in the same order/box and it was only $20 for the shipping, that’s crazy
You are being taken for a ride. 7 mm is the run out for Honda/Acura. I own a 2001 accord, and a 2004 crv, and have never had to replace the rotors, or calipers.
I’m buying a set of Powerstop coated rotors and Akebono pads for my accord to put on in the spring.
Just got the front brake upgrade. Calipers, Powerstop Z23 rotors and pads. Runs smooth now.
Don’t get the Powerstop drill slotted rotors. Get their regular rotors. I had them on my ‘19 2.0t and they were remarkable brakes.
I have the powerstop z26 on my q, would recommend regular rotors unless u want that sporty look- they are prone to warping if not done right. Idk what i did wrong on mine, they work great but im 90% they warped within the first month
Never had any issues except warped rotors on one
as of now it's still got the OEM ones on the rear (and I failed to notice that they'd begun to warp due to already having swapped the front brakes back in August).
