I'm running Powerstop drilled and slotted rotors (stock diameter) and their ceramic pads both front and rears and they perform great. I dont track my car but for street use is perfectly fine. The pads have very little brake dust and I don't hear any noise from them either and pedal feel is a bit better than stock to me but just barely. I've had these on since last year without any problems. I also have this brand on my other vehicles..specifically my '99 Subaru 2.5rs...and never had any issues with the brakes at all and it's been 10 yrs. So I'm hoping to get the same results with my R.

Pros: perform great, little brake dust

I run PowerStop crossdrilled/slotted anti rust on my Infiniti and my truck. I've used them for a few years and like the braking on them. Have had no issues over 30000 combined miles with the heavy load on the truck and spirited drive of my car. I've also installed the PowerStop OEM grade pads and rotors on some friends cars and they have been very pleased. I also use the PowerStop pads with these setups.

Pros: like the braking
Vehicle: Infiniti
Mileage: 48280 km

Yeah I had to personally cut 2 pairs of slotted EBC rotors brand new on account of pulsation, the front already has EBC slotted rotors and red stuff pads which stop excellent, the difference was night an day.

Pros: stop excellent, night and day
Cons: pulsation, had to cut

I've been running slotted and cross-drilled rotors on my A4 for 5 years. I've never had one crack, but I don't autocross. For my latest set I looked for drilled, but not slotted, rotors because my last set buffeted at high-speed braking, which feels shaky and unstable, and I read that was because of the slots.

Pros: never had one crack
Cons: buffeted at high-speed braking

EBC Brake discs

having a vac at idle is NORMAL... its exactly how it was designed to be... vacuum is drawn on the head and block from the manifold via the PCV system... you test it by taking the pcv off and trying to force air through the valve. if it goes through, its busted... if it doesnt, then your fine.

Pros: normal vac at idle
Vehicle: Audi A3
