Brake discs Detroit Axle or R1 Concepts

R1 Concepts Brake discs

R1 concept is what I use, with the drilled and slowed with there performance pads, works very good and at a low cost , plus the rotors look awesome on the car.

Pros: low cost, works very good

R1 Concepts Brake discs

I ended up buying the drill and slotted rotors from R1 concept and I have the Akebono Brakes. I have had them for a little over a year now and it has been great. My brake power feels better than before and the brake pads are also really great.

Pros: better brake power, great pads

Picked these up because my ultimate goal was to do something OEM+. These were drilled with a very OEM like coating and when the calipers were painted blue it looked identical to those R32/R36 brake set up. Although I only had them for a short period of time, I've previously used e-Line on other cars and had no problems just like the Premium one.

Pros: OEM like coating
Cons: inconsistent drilled positions
Vehicle: Volkswagen
