Battery YUASA or OEM KIA

YUASA Battery

Second the Yuasa recommendation. Best battery I’ve had. Bought last one on Amazon. I like that the acid hasn’t been added yet so you know it’s fresh.

Pros: best battery, fresh

OEM KIA Battery

When i changed my battery in my Kia eSoul (same car, different brand) the only thing that happened was that the aux bat SOC said 255 for some time. Then car calibrated itself to the new battery and said the right value.

Pros: car calibrated itself
Cons: aux bat SOC said 255
Vehicle: Kia

YUASA Battery

My 12v battery died last winter and I decided to replace it with a Yuasa Silver battery after hearing people having problems with their 12v battery. It has a 5 year guarantee which gives a bit of peace of mind.

Pros: 5 year guarantee

YUASA Battery

Yuasa are always good, but I've been a big fan of "Big Crank" / [Batterymart.com](http://Batterymart.com) batteries on most of my bikes.

Pros: good brand

For the new Niro EV get a 027 battery from a third party. I got a Yuasa 027 65Ah for £90 from Halfords UK.

YUASA Battery

On my Kia Soluto 3 years and 6 months, it was still ok but I got nervous coz the last PMS recommended that I change it already. I switched to Yuasa and I hope this will also last around the same time.

Pros: lasted 3 years 6 months
Cons: recommended to change
Vehicle: Kia

Yes! I had to change mine in just a year and a half!!! I was so surprised because it’s Yuasa and it’s not the first I buy for my bikes (during the last 15 years).

Cons: short lifespan
