Battery Varta or OEM FORD
Always read your manual/mfr suggestions for battery charging and longevity.
For Li-ion you generally should charge no more than 80% (some mfg hide 10% via software like Ford, so you charge to 90%). Also, limit fee cycling these types too, regularly you should DC to about 50% max. Occasionally deep cycling and full charging is fine. Should limit DCFC also.
Varta are a pretty decent brand of battery (although their consumer AAs suck), would not expect it from them.
fits perfectly in a NB
I just replaced my dead Zenipower OEM cells with Varta 1254 A3. So far the battery life is exactly as specified by Sony. We'll see if the Vartas can handle the charging regime.
Adding my experience here for others that may stumble upon the thread. I was having really bad+inconsistent battery life with my left and then right buds, where they would die in less than hour. I replaced the both earbuds original batteries with the Varta CP1254 A3 battery and also did a hard reset.
It took a little over an hour to do and finally the battery life is decent again. I was able to run them for a good 3 hours on noise canceling with max quality settings and it's a night-and-day difference.
I've had some good luck with OEM Vw therye where either Varta or another OEM factory battery. 7 years on one...and also 3 years till 50%, lots of variables, to make a battery last or not last.
I just now successfully replaced the battery with a varta cp1254 a4 due to the right one going bad after a year of use, testing it for a few hours now and it worked!
I've been using the varta cp1254 a3 (60mAh) in my left earbud for about a month. The difference is very small (less than 10%). From full charge to low battery warning, varta 20%, zenipower 25+%.
Sodium ion has about half the volumetric and gravimetric energy density. Li will remain king in the EV space for a long time to come.
It was a Varta battery. And dial a battery and car guru provide similar services right? And I only talked about battery prices as the service to come to my place was provided via insurance. Secondly yes I accepted it as I had to go out in a hurry but in my opinion they seem to be expensive when directly compared to their competitors.
