Battery Tesla or Duralast

The batteries easily last 300k miles even if they're not well taken care of.

Recently installed the Duralast Platinum. One week in and everything is working like a new battery should be.

I drove over to Autozone and asked to borrow their battery/alternator scanner. CC amperage was way down, so just threw a new battery in there, and all is good. Ended up costing $230 even with tax, and $22 core charge credit for their Duralast with a 3 year warranty.

I\u2019m glad I have a Tesla with a 16v LV lithium Ion battery. Should last the life of the car like the HV battery.

If I could easily repurpose the cells in my 140k mile Model 3 into home storage for my solar I would rather do that than sell the car. 3% degradation the car itself needed more work than a replacement battery ever would have cost.

Just a heads up I had same issue with my Titan and it was the battery. I purchased a cheaper battery and 6 months in I get only a click when trying to start truck. Sometimes would start sometimes not. Then I bought the same battery again to see if that would fix the issue. This time it didn\u2019t start at all with the same type of battery, tested 100% charge and 100% battery life. So I said let me try buying a better quality battery just to see if anything happens, sure enough the truck started. It has kept starting ever since.

Owned a model Y for 2 years and 65k miles (9% battery degradation for those wondering). It got extremely boring and I was tired of the constant nagging from the car.

Warranty: side repeater, spoiler, battery (at 82k)

people are saying no, but i 100% would. one of my model 3s warned me in advanced, but the other died with no warning in a parking lot. the battery is only $85 from tesla service if you install yourself, you can pickup without an appointment. i personally change mine every 2 1/2 years now because they die at 3 years for me

Yes. Mine was from 2020 and quit without warning March of this year. Contrary to what some people have said, the car won\u2019t always warn you that the battery is weak.
