Had a yellow optima that went 10 years and it started to slow a bit. Replaced the yellow with a red 6 years ago and it’s still fine.

Pros: long lifespan, good longevity
Cons: slowed down

I’d go for Vatra. Massively popular in Finland where it often gets lower than -30 in winters. I had mine on an F10 and the car was stationary for 2 weeks with average temp of around -15 degrees. Zero problem

Pros: zero problem, reliable
Vehicle: BMW

Varta Battery

In my old Audi, I had a non-OEM battery and I did the +1 in the serial number trick. That battery failed in a couple of months. I honestly think it was a bad unit.

Cons: battery failed in months
Vehicle: Audi
