Had a yellow optima that went 10 years and it started to slow a bit. Replaced the yellow with a red 6 years ago and it’s still fine.

Pros: long lifespan, good longevity

Cons: slowed down

Amaron does last a whole lot longer than exide which just starts giving issues after warranty period. I had an issu in both my car and bike previously dues to exide. Switched to amaron once and did not give any issues till now.

Pros: Amaron lasts longer

Cons: Exide gives issues

Amaron all the way! I've always had to replace my exide batteries way before their actual expiry and their warranty claim is pathetic.

Both my Unicorn 160 and Access 125 have Exide. Zero issues.

I have amaron in scooty, Exide in Suzuki Gixxer and in my swift.

The Exide in my Gixxer laster 5 years plus! So I guess that's nice

Pros: lasted 5 years plus

I replaced the battery with an optima battery brand new I assume the high quality battery. If the battery was a problem would fix it but it did not and now I’m back to square one

Pros: high quality battery

I went through 2 of them in my Corvette. The last one was making sizzling noises after I needed a jump from a 200 amp battery jumper. The top of the battery was meled,.Not worth the money. Never again!!!
