OEM Toyota Battery

I have put 50k+ miles on my 09 Highlander Hybrid in the last 2 years. It charges to 76% and provides 27-30mpg depending on conditions. I love it.

Pros: provides good mpg

I had a 2008 Highlander hybrid that I sold to a coworker. The battery is still strong but the fan that cools the batteries gave out. He had that fixed and it is still running fine today.

Pros: battery still strong
Cons: cooling fan gave out
Vehicle: Toyota Highlander

Yuasa has been the best for me. Running in Hondas, kawasaki, and Harleys. Shortest life span was 3 years on a ratbob I built that constantly had electrical issues draining my battery.

Pros: best lifespan
Cons: electrical issues draining

YUASA Battery

I would stick with a Yuasa YBX3012 - they are known to work reliably in the Zoe so I would go from others experience.

Pros: work reliably
Part number: YBX3012

YUASA Battery

I’m just pulling out a 4+ year old Yuasa that only started giving me problems about 2 months ago. Gonna try the $30 Mighty Max special this time since it seems to have some favorable reviews and we’ll see what happens. ????

Pros: lasted 4+ years
Cons: problems after 4 years

OEM Toyota Battery

Having been burned with low quality auto parts store batteries (specifically for the Prius) and their being unable to honor their warranties, the Toyota battery is the only way to go.

Pros: Toyota battery recommended
Cons: low quality, warranty issues
