So we bought a new 550CCA battery and installed it and it started right up. When I pulled the 18 month old OEM battery out, I was shocked at the CCA rating: 356. 356!!!! That's insane.

Pros: car started right up
Cons: low CCA rating

I had to replace my comfort battery as well 2 weeks ago. The please start engine warning came on all the time before cranking. I ended up getting the batterie from an Audi dealer since the local VW dealer didn't have one in stock. At Audi the battery actually cost $ 60.00 less than if you would buy it from VW.

Pros: cheaper at Audi

The OEM battery sucks I upgraded mine to an AGM with an extra 100 or so CCA. A better battery will also let your auto start stop last longer. Stock battery would never last a stop light for while under load new battery gives me a lot more time even under load.

Pros: auto start stop lasts
Cons: OEM battery sucks

Cons: batteries last 2 years
Vehicle: Subaru Legacy
