the battery is in great condition.
When I experienced a sluggish start, it was the battery. In my experience, this car prefers Honda batteries. It’s been going strong for 3 years now. It’s also one of the more affordable batteries.
I still get my batteries from the dealership because they last the longest and cost the least, for some reason.
We had a 2015 Nissan Leaf EV back in 2018. Fun little car but it only has an 80 mile range.
I drive a 2019 CRV and was thinking about a new battery, doing research man it seems like today's batteries don't last, I figured i got 6 yrs with a Honda so I stuck with their brand
Currently, a bit over 3 grand (labour included), at least for the Civic/Accord Hybrids.
Shop Forman and Nissan tech of 15 years, lately we have seen a ton of frontiers come in for battery discharging. Some will be batteries that do test bad, some have been discharging for no reason even after confirming no parasitic drains, some believe the Telematics control unit is staying on/relaying to Nissan servers causing drains. With the variable charging systems controlled by the ECM/IPDM all of it just seems to be a recipe for electrical disaster. Not a fan of any of it
Bought a 2025 Rogue Platinum less than 2 weeks ago. So far, on day 4 the car was completely dead in my driveway. Needed the battery replaced.
I got a battery from Nissan under warranty. It has a 7 year 84K warranty if I recall. That battery less than 6 months later gave a fault and they replaced it again. '22 SV
the oem nissan battery had been replaced about a year prior, and it died in my driveway. the oem nissan batteries are crap.
