Battery OEM Hyundai or Duracell

The best way to check is to go with a multimeter and get the highest voltage/closest manufactured date. Duracell might just be EverStart rebranded BUT NO the Walmart battery will last around 1-2 years, maybe less. If you want to make sure your covered with a good battery, that’s when you go to Advance Auto or AutoZone and get the battery with 3 years of warranty and swap it out right before the 3rd year ends and I find the batteries last me forever.

The best lead acid type of battery is a Duracell/East Penn hybrid/house AGM deep cell. These have thicker plates and are typically used for RVs and boats. They can tolerate deeper discharge and are less susceptible to damage (AGM). They sacrifice a little instantaneous current output, but that's not needed on an EV.

They battery they install is pretty good, other people around here need to change it after 5 years

I have a 2015 Tucson, 130km on it and only needed to replace the battery on it once at the end of its life. It’s such a strong car! I love it.

I can say from my experience if it drops below -20C a level one will only really keep the battery from losing power.

I'm not putting a Duracell in my car, they can't even make a double A that doesn't leak within the year.

I\u2019m driving a 2023 Tucson Limited. I don\u2019t find Hyundai to be an attentive manufacturer. The car had a dead battery at 7,000 miles (no explanation)

I remember buying a brand new Hyundai in 2016 and the car only turned on once. Then I called them and they said they installed a bad battery and changed it lol. It went on to only last 5 years.
