Battery Exide or ODYSSEY

Odyssey batteries have served me well. AGM. My Benz has the battery under the passenger seat so I it’s irritating to change. My last Odyssey lasted 9 years and didn’t fail: I just decided to change it as a matter of maintenance.

I don't think they are good at inverters, but I have used their battery for ups which lasted 4 years, now i am using the second one which completed one year

VW lists 3 batteries, 1 AGM (68 Ah, Varta) and 2 flooded (72 Ah, Varta and 59 Ah, Exide) that may be used.

I'm on my second Odyssey Extreme (first one lasted from 2017-2022) and they are pretty good. I got the 34R-PC1500T. I give it a charge once every month or two with the Odyssey charger.

Odessey batteries . 5 years in AZ heat and still cranks . IMO it’s the only one I get my monies worth.

I went with Odyssey Extreme gel cell and its worth the price!

My go to now is odyssey, though they are fairly pricy. If i dont have a choice, like when my battery literally [exploded](https://www.reddit.com/r/Justrolledintotheshop/comments/pqcbcm/i_sounded_like_a_shotgun/], i get optima.

I've had decent luck with Odyssey batteries
