I've had my Mach E for about four years and nearly 100k miles. I've never worried about the 80% charging and always charged to 100%. I can't tell a huge difference in the range after four years.

Pros: no huge range difference

Vehicle: Ford Mustang

I had the same issue with my MY2024 XL Hybrid constantly going into deep sleep mode. There is a recall for MY2022 and MY2023 Mavericks Hybrids due to a bad 12V battery. I took it to the dealer anyways... After their battery test, mine FAILED and they replaced the 12V with an new AGM battery (free under the OG 3yr/36k mi warranty).

Pros: replaced with AGM battery

Cons: deep sleep mode

XLT 22 Hybrid, aside from the shitty OEM battery that was just swapped out to an AGM one and the numerous recalls, still loving my truck. Gas is still great and the bed works very well.

Pros: Gas is still great

Cons: shitty OEM battery

Had the OEM battery until 2021 before it died. I think six years in the NE is pretty decent for an OEM battery. 78k miles on the truck so far. No issues with the starter or the new battery since replacement.

Pros: decent lifespan

I put a Japan made energizer 2300mh storage at least for 8 monts, charged before storage and surprise, they make my flash work very quick even at maximum power, recycling flash time is even better than manufacturer specs.

Pros: quick flash, better specs

Cons: weak chinese made

Mine did this around 30k miles. The battery was swollen and definitely the problem, but all battery scanners showed that it was good

Pros: scanners showed good

Cons: battery was swollen

I had same issue with energizer batteries both lasted exactly 14 months. Luckily battery came with18 months warranty so in total they lasted 28 months.

Pros: 18 months warranty

Cons: lasted only 14 months

Neighbor has a F-150 lightning.

The battery on it has been replaced twice in 3 years. Its spent a few months now cumulatively at the dealership waiting for the new batteries, and various other repairs.

Pros: spacious interior

Cons: battery replaced twice

Energizer is a shit battery. I had to put an Energizer one out of no options and that barely lasted a year.

This is the worst battery i tried, Enegizer lasted less than a year, maybe around 6 months only and it started dying.

Cons: died in 6 months
