Put a new Bosch AGM in.
Outback has a Duralast Gold. If it helps, we’ve had some harsh -30°f days the last few years since I upgraded my battery. No issues what so ever on it.
I’ve had two duralast batteries in my 02 24v and they’re so old I honestly can’t remember when I put them in. But I’d say they’re about 6-7 years old, probably more. When those batteries finally give up I’ll definitely be getting new duralast batteries.
I recently got a Duralast Platinum battery and it has proven to be very good so far
The battery you want is an AUX18L 20ah battery. I used [This battery](https://www.autozone.com/miscellaneous-non-automotive/power-sport-battery/duralast-gold-etx18l-group-btx24hl-agm-ready-to-ride-power-sport-battery-340-cca/350084_0_0?spps.s=4782) myself a month or so ago, it is an ETX18L and it has been working fine.
Probably the easiest car to swap a battery on imo. Just remove and replace, negative off first. Bosch is good quality, but not required...Use 80Ah 12V.
There is a known random issue with 400 packs. On mine, it is always when I turn on the bike. The speedometer doesn't come on and there is no assist. What I learned about on the internet is to push the test button on the battery with the bike turned on and it will reset and work just fine.
Got a Duralast (I'm not driving an hour round-trip to the f'ing dealer to overpay for a battery). Another inconvenience on newer cars that's completely unnecessary. Really aggravating. Hoping it clears itself out shortly.
Don't do Duralast...they don't last.
I usually run the Duralasts just because AutoZone is everywhere and I usually get it replaced twice before the warranty runs out - Phoenix is brutal on batteries.
