Pink colored Toyota Coolant. My friend is a former mechanic and he recommended this over Honda's.
I always use g13 from the dealer mainly because they can void any warranty for repairs on your cooling system if they see there is not g13 in there (g13 is pink, other types are purple) and with a model that is known to have coolant system issues, i aint giving them the excuse to not fix something they should.
Only use modern Volkswagen G12evo coolant! This is required not optional, if you mix the wrong coolants you can create an acidic meta eating coolant mixture that will ruin your engine
Toyota coolant, the red / pink stuff is some of the best coolant available.
Just use toyota long life coolant je bro. Applicable to all car but buy the original one at toyota SC. Many prefered this coolant since it is good to engine cooling system
I currently just drove 20hrs down south to Florida and the engine level has stayed slightly below half level as it should be the entire trip. Still in Florida driving around the intense heat and sun and everything is still going well.
for choosing coolant, if just topping off, i use whatever's already inside. so if it's factory coolant, use Toyota OEM coolant.
You can add distilled water as a temporary option if you can't find Toyota pink coolant.
My 2029 Alltrack has developed the same problem at 50K miles. Drops about 1” for every two hours driven. You can see and smell the antifreeze.
Yes, the documents say they are compatible - at the cost of losing some corrosion protection. Don\u2019t use G13 if you have a choice. G13 becomes acidic and causes leaks, and leaves deposits in the system which cause clogging. VW switched to G12evo for a reason.
